Crossed Paths – Rudolph
Rob La Frenais, curator, writer and Lecturer invited me to perform a crawling performance for the Doncaster Arts Festival – ArtBomb in August 2022, on the hottest weekend of the year. I carried a 7ft Malus ‘Rudolph’ tree in its pot on my back through the streets as people warmed up for Saturday night – Doncaster race weekend. The first crawl was at 11.00am and the second at 16.00pm, for the second crawl I was accompanied by performance artist Linda Cassels. The (Malus) Rudolph with its beautiful tiny apple bounty is happily growing and blossoming in the ArtBomb Headquarters garden/yard. Thank you to Rob, Mike Stubbs the director of ArtBomb and all the incredible artists involved, it was an unforgettable weekend.
