Crossed Paths – Badger crawl 12
3.00am
I decided to take the path, I was tired, my knees were sore, I wanted a bit of respite from the relentless ripping of my skin. All of God’s slimey, multiple legged, eight headed, winged, bulging eyed creatures crawled between my bare fingers, I was sick, it was sublime, abject, wretched, hideous, ghastly. I was driven by a drive to keep moving and through moving to going further ‘in’, into the darkest hour, the darkest part of the wood, the place I had never been and knew I would never go again. Even though I was just in a wood with a friend for one night, only 4 miles from my home, this felt like a great adventure.
