Llwybrau’r Defaid (sheep track)
A myriad of narrow paths, flattened down or eroded grassland, made by one foot in front of the other, over and over again, with all the time in the world. I crawled it to see, to find out, and to feel the place from a sheep’s perspective. Bog and rock, soft and prickly, hard on the knees and harder on the hands, wet, bleeding and exhausted, I crawled the length of the rocky ridge that ran adjacent to the three tarns.
